Hello world!

We want to tell you all that we got married on the 28th July 2007. Beth and Wakfwen (Godstime) exchanged marital vows amidst tears of joy by the bride! It was a solemn moment for this couple taking vows to share their lives together till death do they part.

The marriage ceremony was well attended by friends, relations and well wishers from both near and far. The church programme lasted about two hours. The church band ushered the bride in with a heart-warming song while the groom was waiting keenly in anticipation of his beautiful bride!

The officiating ministers led the service, the marital vows were taken, and the preacher, Rev. Dr. Obed Dashan, gave a sermon on the relationship of Ruth and Naomi, emphasizing the bride’s determination in uprooting herself from the West and planting herself here in Africa for the cause of the gospel. The choir and Women’s Fellowship choir sang beautifully. The service came to an end and the bride and groom marched out with a dance as the band sang wonderful choruses!

The bride and groom took pictures with different people who attended the wedding and then proceeded to the reception hall where The Proclaimers Band and Dantalla Cultural Band were already entertaining the guests before the arrival of the new couple.

The reception was a beautiful sight to behold! The two music bands thrilled the crowd as the bride and groom displayed their best dancing steps in uttermost expression of their joy! The guests showered the bride and the groom with naira notes in appreciation of the beautiful dance steps displayed by the couple.

Food and drinks were served to the guests amidst dancing and great merriment! There came a time when the guests presented gifts to the bride and groom. After all was done, Rev. Felix Yakdughur, a very good friend of the couple, brought the programme to a close with a word of prayer. The bride and groom were driven to their new home where the space shuttle was waiting to lift them up to the MOON!!!
